In the episode this week we are dealing with competitions for inventions, female condoms, books and stories to give diversity to the next.
Inventions for everyone!
How do you improve a country? Even with the invention (eg oxygen Italian) in the fall we told you about the competition of ideas Invention dedicated to technological inventions to improve the quality of life in energy and environmental sustainability, nutrition and health, communications and information technology, art and design. The competition was organized by Alintec, in collaboration with Nova 24-Il Sole 24 Ore. Proposals (judging from the many lists the site on the problems of reception of the materials) were submitted from 21 October to 31 December. Now that a jury has selected three proposals for each of the four categories, which are submitted online real inventions and innovations that offer significant changes in the fields of art, food, health and the web. Until March 30 you can vote for the winning invention for each of the four categories.

By Lila , we learn of UAFC , an organization that primarily operates in some African countries for the dissemination of knowledge and use of the female condom (the technical name would be Female Health Company FC 2 but is known as Femidom), a condom designed to be 'worn' by women rather than men, and allowing women to have a tool to protect their health, particularly in those countries where ' incidence of AIDS has grown substantially in recent years, and women account for more than half of HIV-positive adult or not. UAFC organizes meetings, seminars, promotional campaigns and studies to promote the use of this tool for the health of women and their partners.
