Last Saturday was devoted to preparing the birthday cake for Helen with their organization's surprise party!
The hands that were dedicated to this work were less than 6 and the result, I can not deny it, it was almost excellent if we consider that the sight of the pie the old lady exclaimed: "ok ... .. ok, guys, where you bought ?!?!?". These are rewarding.
The choice of recipe was rather complicated: the only sure thing was the presence of chocolate, there must be absolutely! But in the end we opted for something classic: a sponge cake with chocolate cream covered with whipped cream!
The sponge was our fear ... we stayed most of the time to fix it during the rising in the oven with the hope that does not deflate, but it has exceeded all the great wrongs of my beautiful mother remained high even outside from the oven. I used
this recipe but adding an egg to the cream and the butter, instead of the pastry with the addition of 150g of melted chocolate founding.
The decorations were made by the good hand of Mary !=)=)!
